The SUR Programme 2022 hosts about 15 undergraduate students from all around the world, studying towards a biology or medicine degree, to pursue an independent lab-based research project. Weekly workshops on presentation skills and career guidance are organised, as well as social activities. At the end of the summer, students present the results of their research on a poster during a symposium and prepare a written report. A scholarship is awarded to all selected participants.
The application must be complete, INCLUDING Recommendation letters by January 31st, 2022, midnight CET. INCOMPLETE OR LATE APPLICATIONS CANNOT BE CONSIDERED.

In addition to the online application, you must arrange for two recommendation letters to be submitted by people familiar with your academic work (e.g., professors). During the application, you will be asked to indicate the contact details of your referee. An automatic email will be sent to them asking to fill out the letter template available on our website.
You will find on our website the potential host laboratories in the UNIL Faculty of Biology and Medicine. In your application, we ask that you select three specific lab head names.
