The SUR Programme 2023 hosts about 15 undergraduate biology or medical students from around the world to pursue an independent lab-based research project over the course of eight weeks. At the end of the summer, students present the results of their research in a poster symposium and submit a written report. Students also attend weekly academic and social activities. A scholarship is awarded to all selected participants that pays for travel to and from Lausanne from the country of the student’s university, accommodation and food.
We consider study in biology and medicine broadly, but applicants engaged in studies in physical therapy, nursery, dentistry or veterinary science will not be considered.
