A practical look at the development of an academic career, whatever the scientific discipline: from putting together your CV to knowing what to focus on next. We review the path from doctorate to professorship, to understand how good preparation involves much more than an impressive list of publications. Through discussion and practical work, we review the importance of contribution to the scientific community as much as research expertise, teaching experience and active participation in academic life. Includes the teaching philosophy statement as well as individual feedback on the CV.
Language: the workshop presentations will be provided in English. Participants will have the option of preparing their work in French or English.
