Private life & academic work: in search of balance!
How can we find a sustainable balance between private life, parenthood, and the demands of academic work?
These questions concern a large part of the university community — whether it’s juggling research projects and family life, managing mental load, or dealing with administrative and professional constraints.
As part of its Community Space, the Graduate Campus invites you to a collective discussion around these topics, in the form of a friendly and participatory World Café.
Four thematic tables, each led by experts from different university services, will allow you to explore various aspects of balancing personal and professional life:
💼 Career: work–life balance, mobility, etc. – with the Graduate Campus
🧠Mental Load and Stress – with the SOC
👨👩👧👦 Family & Parenthood – with the Equality Office
📄 HR Aspects: employment contract, working conditions, return from leave – with the Human Resources Service
This time for exchange will also be an opportunity to share your experiences, voice your needs, and co-develop ideas for action to improve daily life for everyone within the academic community.
Important: On-site childcare will be provided by professionals from the Red Cross (if interested, please indicate the number and ages of your children when registering).
