Since 2022, the SNSF has required a standardised CV format for researchers applying for funding.
This CV is no longer a simple chronological list of degrees and publications: it is structured around the applicant's major scientific achievements.
The aim is to enable a more equitable and fairer assessment of applications — regardless of background or discipline — by avoiding an excessive focus on publications alone.
This workshop dedicated to the SNSF's new CV format will enable participants to understand the logic, structure, expectations and best practices associated with this narrative and standardised format. It will provide an overview of the CV structure with its five mandatory sections: academic age, education, employment, major achievements, ORCID identifier.
