STS-CH, the STS Lab at the University of Lausanne, and the Spiral Lab at the University of Liège are delighted to announce the first Swiss-Belgian STS Summer School. This event will bring together early-career researchers in Science and Technology Studies (STS) for three days of intensive exchange, collaborative learning, and writing support.
The Summer School is designed for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers who wish to advance an article or dissertation chapter while engaging in collective reflection on research practices, writing strategies, and the theme of the event.
Participation will be based on the submission, prior to the summer school, of a text (such as a article or a dissertation chapter). This text may be written in English, French, or German. This text does not need to be a fully polished piece. Work in progress a welcome.

PhD students and postdoctoral researchers
Application
Your application should include a summary of your research or PhD project, including fieldwork, methodology, and problematization (500-750 words).
The deadline to apply is 1st April 2026.
